Philosophy

There are a lot of great advertising agencies when it comes to marketing a candy bar or a car.  Billions of dollars are spent on constantly improving consumer marketing, and with good reason.  Market share can move in real time, with real consequences.

We started i2 because moving people to think differently about ideas requires a different approach.  In past collaborations with many great consumer marketers and agencies, there was a bit of a “Mars and Venus” mentality.

Getting people to love a fast, shiny German car is one thing; getting them to embrace a fast, shiny fighter jet, something else entirely.  Ours is the world of building and protecting reputation.  Opening minds up to new policy ideas. Revealing the downside of other approaches.  Explaining the complex in compelling ways.  Drawing attention, and creating a reaction.

Sometimes the target audience is small, even tiny.  Often the budget is.  Some of our work will be for the long term; other times, for only a few weeks.
